Kerry has used the Southern Royal Albatross - the TOROA - as his inspiration for this beautiful artwork. It beautifully captures the grace and power of this amazing sea bird.

The stone is a beautiful, dark New Zealand Marsden jade - Kerry has used a polishing technique where he mixes a bright shine with a satin matte. This really captures the carved design highlighting different aspects of the work depending on the angle of view and the way the light strikes the jade.
