STAND TALL is a traditional figurine inspired by carved figures found throughout the South Pacific. Wood was often the common material used to carve this type of figure, but they are also found carved in bone and stone - and sometimes carved into living trees. This piece is a fantastic example of bone carving craftsmanship and traditional design.
