UNEARTHED - the perfect name for a Toki that displays a beautiful array of forest greens, earthy browns, subtle curves and hints of the land it came from. Slip it over your head and you'll be donning a stunning piece of wearable art.

UNEARTHED is a large and beautiful pounamu toki, a taonga, a treasure.

UNEARTHED is a pendant for those who love unique jewellery - particularly eye-catching work that is raw and tactile! While a large piece, the design and stone used make this toki suitable for anyone to wear. 

We have added a Black adjustable cord with a striking Grape binding. The stone is central to this piece - a beautiful piece of New Zealand Jade.

UNEARTHED is finished in a soft matte sheen.

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.

The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.

We include our 'Kia Ora' card explaining the meaning behind the Toki design.
