This stylish matau is carved from New Zealand jade. It is a wonderfully, character-filled piece of pounamu. The beauty of our stone is its variability - no two pieces are alike! 

The best way to appreciate this work is to watch the brief video we have taken of it slowly revolving. It really is a stunner!

FUNDAMENTAL is wonderfully carved with little curves and indentations that are difficult to create while maintaining visual harmony. Ric has achieved that beautifully with this one.

We provide this with a fine four plait black adjustable cord and packaged in a woven kete pouch.
