This matau is carved in an angular and bold shape with a subtle celtic influence in the hook's tip. The jade is striking New Zealand pounamu.

The best way to appreciate this work is to watch the brief video we made of the pendant slowly revolving. It really is a stunner! The carved form is bold and the traditional binding gives it a solid and commanding look. A great hook to wear daily.
