MĀWHITIWHITI is a medium-sized toki, beautifully balanced and with an exquisite, fine koru design engraved into the front face.

The Pounamu Rueben has used is a beautiful dark New Zealand Kawakawa jade, from the Rimu area on the West Coast of our South Island.

MĀWHITIWHITI - this is a beautiful piece, a dark green toki with koru engravings down the front face. This piece represents a powerful fusion of strength and renewal - its deep hues, typical of this Kawakawa jade, symbolise resilience and connection to the natural world. A LITTLE ABOUT THE TOKI'S MEANING AND SIGNIFICANCE...

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength - the adze was a key survival tool, used to build, hunt and defend. Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage, to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.
