A fish hook necklace (hei-matau) hand-carved in a traditional style from Woolly Mammoth Tusk. These are glorious pieces!

These are a gorgeous pale cream colour with hints of blue - and they have exceptional grain definition. The tusk has been stabilised with a resin to protect it and to accentuate the naturally occurring blue colour in the tusk. The addition of the resin will make these a lot more robust - so you can wear them with confidence, they are delicately carved but tough!

The tusk we have used for these is honey-coloured, grainy and fabulous - every piece is unique.

Take a moment to view the video, these pieces have a lovely shape, and a gorgeous grain, all revealed as they rotate.
