SWEET ESCAPE is suspended from a fine, 4-plait, black cord which can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots.

SWEET ESCAPE is a beautiful piece of traditional jewellery, carved by a fine New Zealand artist and jade carver - Ric Moor.

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.

The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.

SWEET ESCAPE is lovingly packaged in a woven kete pouch.
