This design is quintessential Kerry Thompson - it is a wonderful flowing form carved with accents and mixed polish that promote the style and grace of the form. Kerry's delineation between matte and high polish creates a beautiful look that changes with distance and the angle of view.

A little about this design...

The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’.  The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
