Meet WARRIOR'S MARK, a powerful and large toki. Exquisite jade carvings by Rueben Tipene, a Māori artist and carver, who honours the ancient art while tastefully incorporating his life experiences into his work.
Carved from New Zealand Pounamu, Jade.
WARRIOR'S MARK is a large toki and quite distinct when you look at its' size, the koru designs carved into the front, and the stone colour and structure.
We think this would make a fantastic wedding or anniversary gift.
The Pounamu Rueben has used is exquisite - a dark New Zealand jade.
We love the Koru designs engraved into the front face - these symbolise fresh beginnings, a new start. The perfect pendant for adventurers who would like to carry a piece of Aotearoa, New Zealand with them on their journey.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE TOKI'S MEANING AND SIGNIFICANCE...
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength - the adze was a key survival tool, used to build, hunt and defend. Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage, to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.
WARRIOR'S MARK is lovingly packaged in a woven kete pouch.
We include our 'Kia Ora' cards explaining the meaning behind both the Toki and Koru design.
