A mysterious piece that hints of history - carved from New Zealand stone, this is a wonderful larger-sized toki. Ric has kept it quite chunky which gives it a presence that is greater than its size.

STORIES UNTOLD is a beautiful piece of traditional jewellery and one that can be worn all the time - it is robust and resilient - the perfect travel companion!

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.

The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.

STORIES UNTOLD is lovingly packaged in a woven kete pouch.
