An outstanding Koru Pendant carved by New Zealand Jade Artist, Jen Hung. Jen described the meaning of this piece to us as follows: the brown bar is to remind people to contain their thoughts, emotion and calculation and go to calm and silent place.

This is a beautiful pendant if you are looking for a quirky, contemporary piece of handmade jewellery. Jen has used a very beautiful and earthy piece of New Zealand Flower Jade and capitalised on its natural depth and colour variation perfectly here - she intertwines two symbols, crafting a unique piece of jewellery that tells a story that will resonate for the right person.

The koru is worn as a symbol of re-birth, growth and development. It represents the unfurling fronds of the fern, and is typically carved with delicate spirals and decorative swirls - this is a superb example.
